A global degree

Our teaching staff include internationally recognised academics  who have strong links with industry and their expertise is  regularly sought in the national and global arenas. We are truly  international with staff and students from over 43 countries
including China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Sweden,  Canada and the United Kingdom.

In  Year 1, you will complete 8 core business courses. In Years  2 and 3, you will complete 16 courses. Eight of these courses  will be in your area of specialisation, and you will undertake  either a work-integrated learning practicum or a minimum
of 250 hours of relevant industry experience.

You can also  supplement your studies with a choice from the following:

  • an overseas internship or exchange
  • an additional area of specialised study offered by the Griffith Business School
  • a specialisation offered from other areas of the University

Work Integrated Learning

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) offers students practical work-  place experience in Australia or overseas.  Major organisations  can offer internship opportunities to students during their final  year, if they choose a WIL internship experience.

English: IELTS result of 6.0 (with no subscore below 5.5), TOEFL
(Paper) of 550, TOEFL (Computer) of 213, TOEFL (iBT) of  79 (no score less than 19) or an ISLPR of 3 OR Evidence  of successful completion of the Direct Entry Program  - the Griffith University direct English Entry pathway.

Practical experience
Through CJ’s, our on-campus training restaurant, Hotel  Management students have the opportunity to learn  practical skills.  Situated on campus and open to the
public, this popular restaurant and bar is operated by the hotel management students.
 
International Links
We have well established exchanges, scholarships  and internships throughout the Asia Pacific region,  Europe and America.  Students have the opportunity
to undertake one semester of study with partner  universities in France, Hong Kong, Canada or Sweden.
