Griffith wins international education awards

Griffith University's reputation as a global leader in education has been strengthened with its success at the Queensland Education and Training International Awards for Excellence last night (September 10). Griffith postgraduate student Camilo L., from Brazil, was named International Student of the Year at the awards ceremony, which was held at Parliament House.

Camilo, who studied a Master of International Business, was recognised for his work creating culturally inclusive events that brought Australian and international students together.

Meanwhile, Griffith Master of Public Health graduate Phi D. won the International Alumnus Award for her outstanding contribution to the public health field of HIV/AIDS.

With almost 10,000 international students from 123 countries, Griffith offers a truly global and diverse university experience.
